ASF Logistics Changes Name to ASF Components

ASF Logistics, LLC, changed its name as of Oct. 1 2014 to ASF Components to broaden the identity of the company’s business activities beyond the traditional logistics segment of wholesale distribution.

Company officials said ASF Components will continue to specialize in developing, implementing, and managing customized supply-chain plans that make companies at the end of that supply chain more productive and lowers their cost of doing business. Despite the name change, the company will continue to operate under its current structure, and existing contracts remain unchanged.

ASF Components currently sources and ships more than 5,700 SKUs, sourcing globally from ISO manufacturers and shipping to customers in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, Europe  and Australia. The company also provides advanced engineering and engineering support for manufacturing and product development.

The company specializes in supplying OEMs and industrial markets with superior-quality Class C components “at the right time, at the right place, at the right price.” ASF Components’ product lines include but are not limited to: hose, fittings, couplings, nuts, bolts, rivets, clips, washers and related small-component assembly hardware.

With the name change, the company launched a new website at its new domain, www.asfcomponents.com.
